Just a thought...
It's shocking to me - these holes that riddle my life, and the lengths Love will go to fill them.
... and welcome to my site! I'm Sara, or Sayruh - depending on where you're from. I'm a quarter of a century old, and I knit. I eat. I work. I avoid cleaning and organization if at ALL possible.

* Ok, I have something totally embarassing to say.
* I haven't shaved my legs in FOUR MONTHS!
* The last time I shaved was when I met S for the first time.
* Well, not exactly WHEN....
* ...but right before we met.
* Things just went in a downhill slide from there.
* So, I'm unshaven in protest.
* I guess.
* Plus it's winter.
* Hello?
* Extra insulation.
* Handy.
* I took the day off on Friday.
* Had a long weekend.
* I stayed in bummy clothes for most of it.
* Except for yesterday when I went out to spend lots of money.
* Today?
* Well...
* We've got about 5 inches of snow/ice/sleet on the ground/roads/parking lots.
* So, I'm aiming for a REALLY long weekend...
*... and will probably take tomorrow off of work, too.
* :sigh:
* Sometimes....
* Some.
* Times.
* Life?
* Is good.
* Lord of the Rings?
* I love it.
* I'm reading Fellowship of the Ring,
* and I'm totally hooked.
* I would just read it 24 hours a day
* if I weren't a mammal,
* and were some...
* scaley...
* slimey ...
* big-eyed ...
* creature
* that didn't require sleep.
* Do we have those?
* Here on earth?
* Hmmmmmmmmm....
* I'm doing a body challenge.
* I've done Pilates every day this week.
* Lost a whole inch in my waist.
* Impressive, yes?
* I also bought a $40 thick, pilates mat...
* that way I can look really stupid
* rolling backwards with my feet flying overhead...
* and it not hurt so much.
* Pilates works, y'all.
* Just ask Melanie Griffith.
* Ya, know...
* The one married to Antonio Banderas?
* Yeah, she's hot.
* Wanna know why?
* Yeah.
* Pilates.
* :nodding:
* So, I fully expect to look like Melanie...
* By....
* Like....
* Next month?
* I totally filed my taxes already.
* http://www.hrblock.com
* It rocks.
* Just like pilates.
* Except it doesn't help the abs.
* I'm getting mucho denerio back.
* Which is SO NICE.
* I don't feel like I've been totally robbed by the Government this way.
* I think I'll save for a niiiiiice camera.
* OR - pay off a credit card....
* Ugh.
* Decisions, decisions!
* I just wanna have fuh-uhn.
* Forget that whole "getting out of debt" thing.
* Pfffft.
* Funny, I still have the flowers that he gave me...
* sitting in a vase...
* on my mantel.
* D E A D.
* Think I've gotten over it much?
* Well...
* Actually?
* Sort of like the relationship,
* I actually like them better now that they're dead.
* D E A D.
* Hehe... bitter much?
* Me?
* Noooo-ho.
* Nevah.
* Watch the Golden Globes?
* I did.
* I just think Bill Murray is the best thing since whipped cream out of a squirty can.
* He's funny funny funny!
* I could just wrap 'im up, and stick 'im in my pocket!
* Then he could whisper things in my ear...
* like, funny and witty things to say to the rude store clerk.
* like, "Hey, stupid. Why don't you get a real job?"
* Hehe... well, maybe not.
* LOTR: ROTK ... won.
* Can you believe it????
* They finally WON!!!!!
* I was so happy, I clapped in my living room.
* I shrieked, too.
* I think...
* Yes...
* I'm pretty sure I shrieked.
* Like a little girl.
* Is it just me.....?
* Or am I the only one that thinks Elijah Woods looks better as a hobbit?
* Yeah, keep the pointy ears...
* And the big hair sort of off-sets those bulging eyes of his.
* Isn't it great?
* Me?
* Sitting here criticizing one of the richest hobbits in the world?
* Beyond that?
* I have nothing more to say.
* Other than that I look like a big, fat cow when I wear t-shirts with collars.
* Just sayin'........................
Starting over - Growing up
I hate (hatehatehatehatehate) when I lose blogs. Especially the type that have been edited, spaced appropriately, and types that I have worked on for HOURS. Maybe I'm just being silly, but it really throws me for a loop. It generally takes a long time to recover... it's like going through a grieving process - first you're sad, then you're in denial, then you're angry, then you're depressed, then you accept, then you move on. Thankfully, unlike situations that really justify a grieving process, I went through the entire cycle in less than 24 hours. *nods* Yeah, little Sara is growing up. Aw.
So, what happened?
Well, those of you who use Typepad know that when uploading pictures to a new blog entry, you have to be verrrrrry careful to check "Show me the HTML" instead of checking "Create a new post for this uploaded file". Because if you forget? And you leave "Create a new post for this uploaded file" checked? Then the blog which you have been working on, and have been spilling your guts upon - will be erased. Gone. Poof. Toodles. And all you'll see? Is a string of HTML linking to the freshly uploaded image. Ewwwwww.... I could've just spit! And I did. I also kicked, screamed, stomped, growled, screamed, smacked, jumped, screamed, writhed, and screamedscreamedscreamedscreamed. Anyway - I'm over it. Beyond it. There's nothing I can do, right? *growls*
Denial
Ok, I'm not over it. I'm still very bitter. So, in protest I will only give a brief run down of the subjects covered in said lost blog...
* Thanks for all your support, Godly advice, and words of wisdom in my previous post. Y'all rawk.
* President Bush is coming to town today. Exciting.
* My room is clean. *insert stupid picture here*
* I finished a watercolor piece. *insert doubly stupid picture here*
* Other silly drivel.
* Heh - funny antidote.
* *insert 'nother picture here*
* Blah blah blah.
* Glad the week is over.
* Ready for cold weather.
* Going to have a yardsale tomorrow. Yay.
* More blah blah.
* Book list for next year
* Blip about blogring I started for sites participating in the read-a-book-a-week project.
* blah blah blah.
Yup. It was chocked full - probably too full. That was my downfall. If I had just kept it simple, it wouldn't have mattered one way or another. *eye roll* Ugh, I feel so stoopid. Why didn't I save? Why? W H Y ??
I yike my new banner. Heh. :-) Well - I'm off to go explore artistic worlds, and paint, paint, paint! Art lessons, ya know.
