In other news...
I'm totally an artist. I finished my first piece last night, and my art instructor was kind enough to mat and frame it for me. It won't be done until next week, but when I get it back I'll be sure to scan & share. I've discovered that painting is very therapeutic ... it's an escape ... a break from life, and a dip through color. Art has brought me to a place of acceptance when things don't turn out as I planned - I've discovered that sometimes the end result is better than anything I could've ever planned. It's teaching me to let art be art - and let God be God.
