I stood and watched 3 cycles of this ride. Loving the screams. Loving the expressions. The lights, the motion, the unpredictability of it all. Would it spin? Would it free fall? But better than watching the ride, was actually partaking in its spinning goodness. I sat between Mandie, and some pre-pubescent boy, who seemed impressed with his abilities to shout gratuitous explicatives in an effort to impress "the laaaaa-days". |

There was a controlled ascent through a haze of dry ice and nervous chatter. The entire ride jerked and groaned. I eyed Mandie nervously and she shouted over vintage MC Hammer Can't Touch This: "I hate when that happens!!!!!" I nodded and grinned. The machine broke wind, and we were OFF. Spinning. Jerking. Screaming. DIVING. Laughing. Loose change was hurled to the ground below, and we became a flaming ball of adrenaline, lights, and surprised urine. Good times. -SEP / 10-6-05 |
